July's Makeup Bag Mix-Up

I'm excited to share a brand new feature here on ML called "Makeup Bag Mix-Up"! I own a fairly decent-sized makeup collection, and it's very easy for me to forget that I own a certain lipstick color or foundation because they get pushed to the back of a drawer. I was inspired by Estee's Make-up Shake-up post to challenge myself to use a different combo of products in my makeup bag each month. That way I'll be less likely to forget I own something or waste a product, and it will also help me keep my makeup looks fresh and different (instead of wearing the same thing every day).

#AskMandy #1

Well howdy, y'all! ^_^ I'm so excited to share my very first Q&A video today! It was a lot of fun seeing what you guys were curious about and answering all of your questions. I would definitely like to do more of these videos in the future, so if you have any questions you'd like featured in my next #AskMandy just leave them in the comments below!

How To Get Textured Beachy Waves // A Healthy Sexy Hair Review

It's summertime, and because of the heat I tend to be pretty lazy with my hair. I don't want to take the time to blow it dry and flat iron it, or curl it with a hot curling iron. Blegh! Too much heat! Instead, I usually just let my hair air dry and be it's naturally wavy self. The only problem with this no-fuss method though, is that my hair definitely is not as cute as it could be, haha.

In my Ipsy bag this month, I got a deluxe sample (aka a travel-size bottle) of the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I'd never heard of this product before, but I was super excited to try it because I had been looking for a way to get that tousled, beachy hair look.

Products I Regret Buying

Hey cute faces! I'm finally back to filming regular videos in my own space, and I couldn't be happier. It's been much too long since I've filmed a normal video, and I've missed sharing with you guys! Today, I'm talking about the products that I wish I had never purchased. It's not the happiest of videos, but hopefully I can help y'all from making some of the same buying mistakes that I have.

My 5 Faves // Summer Nail Polish Colors

Today I'm sharing my 5 favorite summer nail polishes! Summertime is perfect for trying a bunch of different colors on your nails. I like wearing colors that are tropical and fun for the season. Neons are my summer favorite because they look fantastic against tanned skin, plus you really can't go wrong with a pretty hot pink or an ocean blue. :)

MAC x Marge: The Simpsons Collection

If you're any sort of makeup fan, then you've most likely heard of MAC Cosmetics. I've heard so many awesome things about this brand, but sadly have yet to try it...mostly because I have no clue what to try first. An eye shadow? A lipstick? (I don't know, any of you MAC fanatics out there, feel free to help a girl out.) One thing I know I already love about this brand is that they create some of the coolest collections I've ever seen (like the Sharon and Kelly Osbourne collections out right now).

July's Sponsor Party!

1. Izzie wrote a review about two dark circle erasers/brighteners, and boy am I glad she did. I had been thinking about trying First Aid Beauty's Eye Duty Triple Remedy, and now I'm definitely going to thanks to her review.

2. Coco shared the prettiest caramel + pink makeup look on her blog, The Beauty Milk. It's a beautiful look for summer and I can't wait to try it (she used the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive, one of my favorites!).

3. This PB&J Parfait recipe Courtney shared is quick, easy, and sounds super delicious!

4. I loved getting to see all of the pretty things in Stef's and Erin's bags. These girls have such cute style. ♥

5. Janee started a 4 week healthy eating challenge and I think I'm going to join in. All you have to do is not eat any processed sugar for 4 weeks and you can have one treat day per week. I've been wanting to get unnatural sugars out of my system for awhile, so this is the perfect challenge to motivate me.

6. I'm loving Marilyn's guide to New York City. It's on my bucket list to visit NYC someday, so this post is totally being bookmarked.

I have a lovely group of sponsors this month, and it would mean the world to me if you'd check out their links and send them some love. My sponsors allow me the opportunity to turn my blog into my job someday. I owe it all to them, so let's give them as much support as possible! :) xo, Mandy
